The building facade and extra high boundary fences essentially wrap the courtyard, floating carefully around existing palms and trees to create a very private and green oasis.

Building finishes and vertical elements such as fences, screens and brick walls are all painted white to bring in as much light as possible. The pared back selection of tonal landscape materials such as bluestone crazy paving and pool coping, grey/green porcelain pool tiles, weathered hardwood decking and stainless steel pool fencing offer a subtle and calming contrast to the light and bright back drop of the building.

Planting has been kept fairly simple with emphasis on bursts of foliage texture and accent planting, used in either massed blocks or in pots, to soften corners and hard expanses of walling and fencing.

The dominant greenery onsite comes from over head existing Bangalow palms, Accent trees such as Yuccas and Dracaenas as well as neighbouring tree canopies, that combine to fill the courtyard and rooms of the home with a lovey soft filtered light.

The minimalist design ensures an uninterrupted flow between house, garden and pool, with maximum space for enjoyment and entertainment.
