This site had great bones to work with.

The backyard is north facing and opens out from the rear to a beautiful green back drop of Dypis palms and an established Pandanus tree.

We really had the perfect canvas to design a new swimming pool and garden that captured all the wishes of growing a family who wanted to spend their time together entertaining outdoors.

There were however some constraints. A main sewer line cutting across the corner of the site, drainage /stormwater connection (being a flat open area), protection of existing palms and vegetation, and managing light into the space as we wanted to push out to boundaries as mush as possible to maximise the pool size and lawn. 

In the end we were able to resolve all of these concerns and create a coastal backyard that is fun, light and inviting, with a great size family pool, multiple entertaining areas, outdoor kitchen, fire pit area and huge lawn for the kids.
